Young Adult Digital Photography Project:
On Wednesday, July 15th from 9:00 AM – 12 Noon, eleven young adults, ages 9 to 15, participated in our inaugural YOUNG ADULT DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY PROJECT. This project’s goal is to bring together young adults interested in photography with professionals in the field who will act as coaches and critics of their work. As envisioned, this project will continue to meet periodically (late summer, fall, etc.) so that young people will be able to share their work, meet and learn from seasoned pros, and possibly take on specific photo projects on selected topics. In addition, the PROJECT will create a web presence via a blog where young adults will be able to post their work securely. Owner of Pace PC Solutions here in Destin, Matthew Pace, spent three hours with project participants demonstrating digital photographic techniques as well as introducing them to online sources for fee paid and public domain photography.
